My boys are doing great and we've been together for almost a year. Bob and Bert came home less than a week before the Covid shutdown hit Illinois. I feel very lucky for that timing. It took me a couple of months to get them leash trained using harnesses to help. They didn't much care for the harnesses and destroyed two sets before I started to keep them out of their reach.

On several walks people have stopped their cars or their walks to say hi to the boys. One guy mentioned that he had a Redtick and how great hounds are and I agreed! Several of my neighbors enjoy saying hi to them and they like the neighbors also. A good friend who lives nearby loves them both, Bert a little more.

They are both in good health and at weights of 66 for Bob and 74 for Bert. I think they could eat all day and not put on any weight with all of their energy. I'm sure they've helped my health by keeping me from hanging out on the sofa watching TV all day.

I want to give a great big thanks to Pat and Mark for taking care of them and to ABTCR for everything that they have done and do for all of the pups!! I can't imagine not having my boys. The house would be way too quiet and I would be talking to myself more than I do now.
