Here are some updated photos of Copper, who is just about the best dog we could have hoped for. He is now 10 months old and at least 80 lbs by my guess (72lbs in late October). This is great for us, because we were hoping he would be BIG and he has not disappointed.

Although he was trained to fetch the newspaper by the time he was three months old, he has recently discovered the cottontails in our neighborhood and has some trouble concentrating on his "job" every morning! He loves the snow and is always excited to get up to the mountains where he can explore. As you can see he loves the kids and he also loves every dog that comes to visit - what a great guy!

I have looked for other "happy endings" from his siblings, and it was nice to see that his mother Ella (Enchanted) is also doing well.

We just wanted to thank you again for getting Copper (formerly Charming from the Tails of Enchantment litter) home to us safe and sound. He is such a great little boy! I have attached our first pics of him in his new Laramie, WY home. He was a bit cold when he got out of the car in Laramie (it was about 43 with 15mph wind this afternoon when we got home), but on his third trip outside he acted like he didn't even notice the cooler weather and wind. He is settling in to the house and getting acquainted with his toys and us. We can't wait to watch him grow and mature, and will try to keep you posted.
