I just thought I would give a quick update on Huckleberry... he is doing great! Mabel has accepted him nicely and he is keeping her busy with lots of play. They wear each other out! Huckleberry has his own crate at night, but during the day we see him sneaking into her crate to hang out while the kids are busy with their schoolwork. His housetraining is doing pretty good, not too many accidents, and when there are it's almost always our fault for not watching his signs well enough. I took him into the vet for his first visit this last week and he weighed in at 21.5 lbs. He is eating 4-5 small meals a day and is crazy fun active. Here are a few pix we have taken...my favorite is the one on our back deck with Mabel's arm around him - they were not playing at this time - just lounging like a couple hound dogs :)
