I wanted to let you know that Dixie officially passed her Canine Good Citizen test on November 3! Attached are a few pictures. Needless to say, I am very proud!

Here are a few recent photos of Dixie, who is now almost 9 months old! She just completed the beginner's obedience class at the Central Florida Fairgrounds, and passed with flying colors. I have taken three other dogs through obedience school, and Dixie is definitely the fastest learner I have ever worked with. She was awarded the S.T.A.R certificate from the American Kennel Club, which is helping her move forward with the next level of obedience, the Canine Good Citizen course. We had our first CGC session last week, and she is the youngest in the class! Dixie seems to thrive on learning, and when she's not doing that, she's playing with her doggie friends or making me laugh with her variety of "vocalizations" and facial expressions around the house. I hope this success story encourages you in the wonderful work you do. Sometime I would love for Dixie to have a reunion with her brothers and sisters! Kristen 7 October 2010
