Dixie came to Vermont from Alabama on the last day of February 2020, just before the stay home order. We were looking for an older dog as we are retired people. We feel very fortunate that she was completely vetted (including treated for heartworm), housebroken and cratetrained. Dixie loves her daily walks, trips to the dog park, car rides, visits to the groomer and people. There aren't many Bloodhounds here in VT so we are often asked what kind of dog she is but we also hear how beautiful she is! She gets along with our 2 cats.

We love our girl. She has adjusted extremely well and is a wonderful member of our family. Thank you to ABTCR and everyone that helped her get healthy and find her way to us.
