Fiesta Girl", is now named "Merry" after Proverbs 17:22, "A Merry heart does good like medicine." After childlessness and the death of my beloved 90 year old Grandma, I decided that the best medicine to cure my sad and lonely heart would be to rescue a Black and Tan Coonhound who needed me as much as I needed it. My husband agreed, and all of my hopes have come true in adopting Merry. She is so loving and sweet and tries very hard to please. Her coat is extra soft and she is meticulous about being clean. She is a beauty and we never tire of watching the multitude of expressions she makes with her eyes and ears as she communicates with us. She is a joy giver and smile maker and has brought so much laughter and life into our home. Our most sincere gratitude goes to Jayne, Cheri, Molly and Theresa for all of the hard work they put into rescuing, fostering, rehabilitating, vetting, coordinating and hauling our dear Merry girl home to us.
