AB&TCR HAPPY ENDINGS - KENOBI18

Kenobi and I came into each other's lives in the summer of 2018. I fostered him at first, but within a week I knew it was meant to be, and adopted. He was timid and skinny initially, but once he got comfortable we became fast friends. Always happy to say hello to humans or other dogs, he's the life of the party. I spoil him from time to time, but he deserves it! I'm not a "neat-freak" by any means, but I wasn't sure if I wanted him on my bed at first. That went out the window the first winter! Haha. Now whenever I head to bed, he jumps right up to join me.

Often, kids or adults want to rub his velvety ears, because who can resist? I never have to worry about him snapping at someone, but I do warn kids about the 3 S's: sniff, slobber, & shake in that order, and they're in the Splash Zone, haha. Another funny anecdote: I am a fan of music of various genres, and coonhounds have great hearing. Kenobi loves the trumpet, and on occasion he'll pipe up to sing. His favorite song is, Nat King Cole - La Vie En Rose. Here's a link to a video of him singing: Kenobi Some may think of this as abuse, but he is not moved by any other genres! I think it is just the simple solo trumpet frequencies he likes.

Anyway, I am just so elated to have such a great companion. To paraphrase the movie The Hangover: I used to think of myself as a one-man wolfpack. But when I met Kenobi, I knew he was one of my own. And my wolfpack, it grew by one.

Thanks to Coonhound Rescue for all you do!
