Early this year my husband came across the story of "Heidi" on the rescue website and we quickly fell in love. Heidi was found in Alabama, pregnant and tied to a kill shelter's fence. Heidi was taken in by her foster Mom Audrey and gave birth on January 15, 2010 to a beautiful litter of redbone coon hounds. We visited Audrey, Heidi and her pups late February and quickly fell in love with the spunky little pups. One in particular we picked out and when he was ready, we drove back to pick him up and he joined us at his new home.

He has fallen in love with his 7 year old, 7 lb sister "Vida" who is a Chihuahua rescue. She is a big sister to him and really puts him in his place, even with the 55+ weight difference now. We love our "Loomis" so much and can not imagine our life without him. He brings our family so much joy!
