Here are some pictures of Maggie in the snow - she just loves it! The whole world is a snowcone and she spends most of her time with her whole face stuck under the drifts! Hope you had a wonderful holiday, and as always, thank you for all you and ABTCR do for these wonderful hounds! Merry Christmas!

Maggie is doing wonderful and loves hanging out with her new friends! We continue to go for hikes every day and we are going to start a beginner's agility class next week with a few other dogs we met at the dog park this summer.
As always, thank you for all that you do for these beautiful coonies. Maggie is an absolute joy and I cannot imagine life without her!

Hope all is well with you! I wanted to send a few more pictures of Maggie from the summer. Maggie is enjoying her morning walks on the trails and we have also been visiting the doggie park in the evenings where she loves to play with all her new friends. We also tried an agility course at Canine Fun Days and she did very well! She gets along so well with other dogs, although she chases the little ones sometimes, but knows 'leave it' well enough to not be a nuisance to them! Knowing she is a hound with an instinct to chase small furry things, I think it is funny but I doubt the owners of the little dogs agree :) While at the park a few weeks ago someone asked about Maggie and about how I got her, so I told him about the website! After seeing him the other day, he said he is seriously considering adopting one of your hounds! It would be great if another one could be rescued and loved as much as I love my Maggie! She is growing up to be such a beautiful girl and has such a sweet disposition, she is SO wonderful! Nothing is better than a walk in the park to start the day and a wagging tail and puppy kisses to end it, she is truly an angel and I cannot thank you and your Rescue enough for all you did to bring her home to me!

Just wanted to send a quick hello to you and everyone at the Rescue and update you on Maggie Mae (formally Lovergirl) and let you know that she is doing very well! She has settled in quite nicely and I cannot believe she has only been here a month; it feels as though she has always belonged here. She weighs in at a good 43 pounds already and the vet thinks she will top out near 65 when she is fully grown. She is no longer timid about going on walks like she was when she first arrived; in fact, I think she looks forward to them now. We usually go for a hike in the morning at the park where there is a lake and lots of things to get her nose into and, of course, the ducks that she likes to howl at. She and my cat are good buddies now and can usually be found sleeping on the couch together. She is doing very well with basic commands but it isn't hard to teach her because she is just so smart! I've included a few pictures of her playing in the backyard and on our walks on the trails. Thank you for helping me find this wonderful girl, she is a little piece of heaven and my best friend.
Thank you for all the wonderful work that you do!
