My family adopted RJ this past January. He was being fostered in MD after being removed from a severely neglectful household in VA. Here are a couple pictures of RJ today. He made it to a whopping 70 lbs (anticipated full growth was 55 lbs) and keeps our family thoroughly entertained daily! He enjoys playing with our lab, Yogi, the most (by far), though he’ll happily run around the yard with our daughter anytime. He has also become a very good running companion for me in the mornings. We go anywhere from 30-60 minutes per day…yet he always has energy to spare to dart around the yard upon our return home! RJ has brought so much love and happiness to our home. He has definitely filled the void that was left when our 16 yr old Coonie/Shepherd mix passed away. Thank you so much for the service your organization provides. Somehow, I don’t think this will be the last coonie we adopt through you!
