We picked up T-Bone in November 2010. He weighed only 50 pounds and looked very skeletal so we decided to call him Bones. We knew we were in trouble of becoming attached when he’d look up at us with his big, brown, pleading eyes and melted our hearts. The clincher was when he showed preference toward my husband. The other dogs (and the cat) in the house are “Momma’s Boys” but Bones wanted to be “Daddy’s Boy” which made my husband very happy. We finalized our adoption and celebrated his forever home “birth” day on Valentine’s Day. Now, after 7 months, he’s filled out to a healthy 67 pounds and loves to play with his big brother Rufus, trips to the dog park, exploring in the woods, morning walks and evening bike rides. We are so happy to have him as part of the family. He has such a sweet soul. Thanks to ABTCR for everything.
