I adopted Winston in Jan, 2021. It was a little bit of a rough start, as I was unprepared for his puppy energy and hound dog bark. Bad owner!! Winnie went through training and started going to doggy daycare. We worked through a lot of fear and behavior issues. He is now the sweetest boy in the history of the world!! We moved from a 700 sq ft apartment to our very own house on an acre of land. Winston loves chasing critters (opossums and skunks yikes!) and playing with his brother, Howdy. He would live outside if I let him, but also loves snuggling on the couch. Winnie loves bully sticks, long walks, playing with his friends and laying out at the pool (but absolutely not swimming). We can't imagine our lives without Winston and I am so grateful to Black and Tan Coonhound Rescue for completing our little family.
