We're still surprised daily by him. He has a unique personality—he's smart, relaxed, playful, and loving. Watching him change as he adapts to his new home is enlightening. I can't believe how lucky we are to have him.

He's still reluctant to get out of the car when we go for a ride (except at home where he jumps out immediately) but on the second trip to PetSmart this week he jumped out with only a little coaxing. An advancement over the first PetSmart excursion when after 15 minutes he still wouldn't budge and John had to lift him out of the car. He's learning, it'll just take time, but you can see he has the capacity to learn by what he's done so far. He is very special.
