Pepper (formerly Zarah-Lee) has been with us for a few weeks now. She is just a total goof ball who soaks up all of the attention and love that she is constantly getting. She is almost completely potty trained, and is thriving in our wooded yard. Yesterday was the first warm sunny day since she’s been here and she laid in the sun outside, refusing to leave her spot. She is still learning her name and learning that it’s not the end of the world when she has to be alone in her crate. She also wonders when her dachshund brother will start playing with her, although he is becoming more and more accepting of her and occasionally engages in loud conversations with her. We love her so much and couldn’t be happier. What a cutie.
