AB&TCR HAPPY ENDINGS - CATFISH

We first adopted "Catfish" from the "Redneck Chili Pepper" litter on line last fall 2007 when he was 4 or 5 months old. "Catfish" had been abandoned in a bag on the side of the road with his other litter mates. I saw him and in a picture his brother in a picture online and fell in love with him.

"Catfish", now called Cargo, got his name when we picked him up from the cargo area at the airport, the most precious cargo I have ever received. I scooped him up right in my arms and he slept on my lap the whole way home.

Now he's a little over a year and crazier than ever! He loves to snuggle right by my feet or sneak up on my pillow when I'm sleeping. He loves to do tricks like sit, stay, come, down, and shame (where he covers his nose with his paw and peaks out). He was a quick learner, just taught by me with a treat. When foods around is when you really get to see the funny side of a Coonie. He runs around, barks, and does little dances for us.

Cargo is the best dog I have ever owned by far. I had never had a Coonhound before, but could never imagine having any other kind of dog. They are the perfect breed and I am so greatful this rescue group is around to save these amazing dogs. Thank you!!
