It's snowing to beat the band here and reminding me that it's time to send out a few Christmas greetings. Abel stars again on this year's card and I thought you might enjoy seeing him. He is quite the poser, and I had a hard time deciding which way to go with this one - he reminds me of Man Ray, the famous Weimaraner, who posed for all those cards. He'll stand and pose forever!

As best as I could figure from all the paperwork I got with Abel, his birthday is January 17th. I thought you might like to see him in his party gear. We're dog sitting for a neighbor, so it seemed like a good time to bring out the hats! However, the neighbor's dog really wasn't into it, so he is hatless in the photo. They had a wonderful meal of boiled hamburger and kibble, with a couple of pieces of cheese for dessert - all birthday parties should be so easy! All the best, Monica 16 December 2007 Just had to share these photos of our handsome boy - he is just a bit over six months old now. He is full of personality, always ready for a walk, or Frisbee, a ride in the car, or a nap - cuddling is his favorite hobby - well, that may be tied with eating! (He is over 45 pounds now...) Thanks to everyone at ABTCR for rescuing these lovely dogs and giving us the opportunity to have Abel in our lives. He is a delightful puppy and we are so thrilled with him - he has learned to sit, heel and shake already, and he's so happy to please. He's very vocal! However, he's so quick to learn that he is quiet in his crate and is mostly talkie only at appropriate times. We are having a lot of fun with him.
