I have been wanting to update you all on Gumbo n/k/a Dashiell for some time. We love him so much! He has been a wonderful addition to our family and we cannot imagine life without him. I am also pleased to report that Dashiell made a full recovery from heartworms and is healthy and happy. He and Clara Bow are the BEST of friends. I have never seen two dogs as close as they are. They move as a unit. Clara Bow stopped going in her crate and would only go in with Dashiell a couple of months after we adopted him. We left her crate out, unused, for another month before finally putting it in the attic. Dashiell and Clara Bow have a very structured week. Allison comes to walk them Tuesdays and Wednesdays and they go to doggie daycare every Monday and Thursday. We love watching them play on the nanny cam! He loves the porch and cuddling on the couch in the evenings.

We cannot thank you all enough for bringing Dashiell into our lives, he is a great dog!
