Hello, It is me, Mariah Jayne, stopping in to say Hello. We just got back from a very long walk and I am ready for a nap. It looks like the young one, Duffy, is not ready for a nap. Then again it look like he got my message “Nap time.” We are fine and loving life.

Hello,
It is me, Mariah Jayne, just dropping by to say hi. On March 24, 2011 I had my seventh birthday . Can you believe it? I am seven years old now. I think I am in good shape for a middle aged lady. Did I say that?? We had a wonderful day celebrating my birthday. Got gifts which I will shared with Duffy (my little friend)
My birthday wish, and do not tell anyone, is that every dog that comes through rescue will get the best home ever.
Well, got to go - there is someone in the kitchen and that is always interesting.

Hello,
It is me, Mariah Jayne, wishing everyone a Happy New Year. Mom wanted me to be a reindeer and Duffy wants me out of his bed. What's a girl to do?! It is snowing up here in Blooming Grove, NY today and that is fine with me. I love snow. Well got to go play in the snow before it get too high and we lose Duffy.

Hello,
It is me, Mariah Jayne, here to tell you on 3/24/10 I had my sixth Birthday. Mom found a new pinky for me. We all had a great day celebrating my birthday. I have been in my forever home since the end of Oct. 2005. My family thanks you all for taking care of me. Thanks to everyone at Black & Tan Rescue I have a great home and so do many other hounds. Mom tells me there is a special place in our hearts and prayers for all the folks at rescue.
Well got to go; some one is in the kitchen.

Hello,
It's me, Mariah Jayne, stopping in to say Hi. Mom, Dad and I found a 13" beagle playing in traffic on 7/30/09. Mom took him to the shelter. The shelter had to hold him for 5 days. No calls, no ads about a missing beagle. Mom thinks he is another hunting dog that will not hunt. So after 5 days he when up for adoption. Guess who adopted him? Yes, you are right, he is at our home. His name is Mc Duffy after Dad's childhood Beagle. Mom said we saved his life, so we have to see how Duffy's life turns out. From the photos you see he is little guy. Mom never had a little dog before.

Hello,
It's me, Mariah Jayne, On Tuesday, March 24th, I had a Birthday. I am 5 years old. This is the story of my day.
Mom is telling me to get up. It my Birthday and we have things to do.
1st. A walk.
2nd. Go to Petsmart to get Birthday Gifts for me. I get to pick them out.
3rd. Off to the dog park.
4th. A birthday dinner fit for a Queen
5th. Birthday cake.
Boy, we had a great day..

It's me, Mariah Jayne, stopping in to say Hi. My Mom's sister, Aunt Irene, got a pup this summer. His name is Beckett and he is part Beagle and Treeing Walker. Aunt Irene calls him a Treagle. So I told him to follow the house rules and he'll be fine. Beckett is telling me there are so may rules. He will be OK; after all he is part coonhound.

I have been at my forever home for one year now. Can you believe it? Time flies when you are having fun. Mom is going to retire in 2007 & it looks like we are moving back to my roots. ( North Carolina) Mom said it looks like we will be taking our southern belle home with her northern family.
Got to go someone is in the kitchen & there might be something in the way of food for me.

Life is good in Orange County, New York. Maggie, the old English sheepdog, turned 15 years old in April. Chelsea, the Bluetick Coonhound, is 12 years and I am still trying to get her to play like a 2 year old. I am going back to to my nap so I will be up for dinner and play time with Mom. In Sept of 2006 I will be here a year. Can you believe a whole year in my forever home?? They really love me here and I love them.

Mariah is now in her forever home and doing well. She is a beautiful and loving girl. My other coonhound, Chelsea, and Mariah are getting along fine. Chelsea is now playing with toys again. They like to go on the scent trail together.
