AB&TCR HAPPY ENDINGS - SAM

I know it's been quite a long time since Sam came into our lives. On January 14, 2007 we picked him up through the generous hands of the American Black and Tan Coonhound Rescue outfit in Virginia. He was a big boy at 3 months ready to leave his brothers and sisters and anxious to join his new family, the Puszkas. We had quite a scare in the first few weeks because our vet insisted he had "parvo disease". We did not give up on Sam, thanks to the kind and positive response from the Rescue people. (I did drive them crazy with my concerns, but every call and every email was promptly answered). Well, time went on and we found a more reliable vet who nursed Sam to health ( kennel cough was the issue). Sam is now a healthy coonhound of a year and 1/2 full of curiosity and boundless energy. He is our pride and joy and my son's Alex's loving playmate. The two them are inseparable. Sam enjoys the Ossining dog park, walks on the bike path, the beach and eating disgusting old bones. I highly recommend to everyone who meets Sam, who is regarded as a beautiful specimen of a dog, the American Black and Tan Coonhound Rescue group for their next puppy experience.

Thanks to everyone involved.
