Kassia is an 18 month old Bloodhound that's equal parts sweet, silly, and smart. Her soulful eyes and velvety ears will have you falling in love instantly. Rescued from the streets of Mississippi, she's blossomed into a loyal and loving companion that is ready to sniff out her forever home! Kassia adores her humans and wants nothing more than to be with them, whether lounging on the couch or exploring the yard. Kassia adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with one or more confident canine companions. She's a natural athlete that loves a good game of chase or a wrestling match with her dog friends. Kassia walks well on the leash and loves hiking on wooded trails; she would be a good running partner. Kassia is housebroken and cratetrained and with some basic hound-proofing, she's trustworthy enough to be left out in the home, too. She is a snuggle pro and will happily curl up on the couch or in bed while you rub her head, play with her ears and pet the softest belly you've ever rubbed. Kassia does not like urban life and would thrive in a suburban or rural setting. A fenced yard to explore and enjoy with one or more canine companions is ideal.
