AB&TC MEMORIAL - HANK17

It's hard to believe that one year ago, February 11, 2020, we lost our beautiful four year old Black and Tan Coonhound Hank to Leukemia. When we adopted him three years earlier he was a skinny, shy boy who never wagged his tail. We'll never know what he endured the first year of his life but we made sure his life with us was grand. Hank loved his daily walks, his visits to the Home Depot, Top Dogs and the Chattahoochee Animal Clinic where everyone there took such good care of him. People smiled when they saw him and always wanted to pet his big ole head and his long, silky ears. His beautiful bay could be heard for miles and everyone knew him and his name. Hank brought us so much joy and he knew he was loved. He had more toys and dog beds than any dog we've ever had, he had his own special spot on the couch, the best food and treats and all the love and attention we had. Hank grew into a happy, trusting, loving, funny boy. After many months he finally started to wag his tail and did so until his last breath. All the love and medical treatments in the world couldn't save our young, sweet boy. Hank will forever be remembered and deeply missed.
