In May of 2008 we adopted Isabella. She was our second Coonhound from the Rescue. Sadly, she passed away August 16th due to complications from an enlarged heart and liver and a terribly scarred and narrowed trachea. During the month of treatment, we noticed on the x-rays she still had buckshot lodged in her back from where someone had shot her before Rescue was able to save her. She had a rough few years, but lived out the remaining ones just getting to be a regular dog.

Of all the dogs we've had over the years, Izzie was one of the sweetest and most content. Her best friend and fellow coonie is adjusting, but we all miss her greatly. I attached a picture of the two of them as evidence of happier days. Izzie is on the right.
