We adopted Ruger in October 2011 as a 4 month old pup. He had such a fun, loving, goofy personality, and was a smart boy! Even though he died very suddenly less than a year later, he fit a whole lot of life into that time!

Though he had the typical puppy behaviors (chewing and countersurfing, among others), he made up for that in so many ways! He loved people and never met a stranger, was very quiet for a coonhound, learned an e- collar so he could romp off leash at our vacation cabin, and enjoyed his days at dog daycare where he made lots of dog friends there!

He is missed, but we will always enjoy our wonderful memories of him! Thank you to ABTCR for rescuing him and bringing him into our lives.
