Starbuck was a wily, fun, loving, porcupine-eating whirlwind of a dog. She was the protector of me and then my two young daughters, she kept me safe from coyotes in Colorado, and loved the snow and the water. Her sweet temperament and fun-loving nature will stay with everyone who knew her. She passed away of cancer on January 20, 2017, one day after her 9th birthday. We will miss her but know she has gone to that great deer-filled mesa in the sky.
RIP Starbuck. We will always remember you.
