With a very heavy heart, yesterday we had to let go of our 15 year old Black and Tan Coonhound. It all began after several conversations with Molly 13 years ago. We had received our precious cargo - a beautiful, shy coonhound flown from Atlanta, Georgia to Ontario, California. We had no idea this wonderful dog, Temperance, would soon become the most cherished addition to our family. Temperance was the most gentle, sweetest, content dog and due to her shy and timid nature she never strayed far from hone, a behavior anti-characteristic of the typical coonhound I had imagined. Her desire to never be abandoned again was truly evident and we fulfilled that desire by becoming her forever family.
