It is with great sadness I write that Junior (formerly "Vance") died yesterday. He fought a courageous battle for the past three months. In March, he developed a limp on his front leg. His disease was finally (and correctly) diagnosed last week, following a Cat Scan, a dozen biopsies, etc. by a specialist DVM. Periosteal osteosarcoma accounts for only 2% of canine cancer.

Junior will be missed by his brother, two sisters and Mom. He had a wonderful life on Mt. Tuck for five years, following his adoption at one year old, via ABTC Rescue.
