Emerald Gemini came into our lives October 23, 2006. She was found on a website - American Black & Tan Coonhound Rescue. She was a run-a-way and had a "Ticket to Ride" from Atlanta Georgia. I picked her up at the Delta Cargo at J.W. Airport in Costa Mesa. She was indeed the most beautiful creature I had ever laid eyes on. Emmy fit right into our family. You could not have asked for a better companion. She was kind, gentle, polite well-behaved and such a sweet spirit.

George and I enjoyed her company so much and we will miss her even more. On January 22nd my best friend Laura took this portrait of Emerald with me. She was in so much pain. The next morning, January 23, 2008, Emmy passed on.

We are so grateful to have been blessed with her presence in our lives for these 15 short but so delightful months. Emerald Gemini touched us deeply like no other best friend could. She will never be forgotten as she will always be in our hearts.
