We were asked to help with 2 Blueticks and their surviving newborn pups that were dumped in the woods in November when the local animal shelter was too full to accept them. The Blueticks are probably sisters and have co-parented the 10 puppies that we estimate were born on November 6th. Safe and warm in their Indianapolis area foster home, the pups are in good weight at close to 30 lbs. They either cry or scratch at the door when they want to go outside and know how to use a doggy door. They are super sweet, smart, and loveable and enjoy being with their people. They are well socialized with people and dogs, including senior dogs, and have the perfect blend of sass and snuggle. Wasabi likes rowdy puppy play but settles down quickly when the time comes or when no one (dog or human) wants to play with him. Firecracker loves toys and will play quietly for hours if the others leave her alone. Transport assistance is available.
