Trooper is a 5 year old Bluetick male that was surrendered by his previous owner and is now waiting in Dallas for his new home. He is a happy guy weighing about 65 lbs and he loves everyone, adult or child. Trooper is reliably housetrained and cratetrained and knows "sit" and "shake". Trooper wasn't crazy about the cows and horses at first, but has learned to adapt and no longer barks at the horses. He loves car rides and will happily jump into the truck or SUV. NO cats, please. Trooper would do best in a home with older children and as the only dog. He is very protective of his "people" and prefers to be the only dog in the home; he gets along fine with other dogs outside and enjoys playtime. He is always wagging his tail and is quite the snuggler and loves to give kisses.
