Jerry is a 2 1/2 year old male Bluetick waiting in southwest Oregon for a new home. In good weight at 62 lbs, he LOVES being with people more than anything. Jerry is very affectionate and is happiest riding shotgun in the car or just hanging out on the couch for a good snuggle with his head in your lap. Jerry would make an incredible family dog because he loves being around kids; the 10 and 12 year old boys in his foster home are his best friends. He is good with even the littlest ones and is a loyal and patient pal to everyone in the family. Jerry does well with other large dogs; he does not do well with small dogs. NO cats please. He is cratetrained and knows when it's time to "kennel up". Jerry is working on some commands, such as sitting and staying and not rushing the door when being let in or out. He is very treat-motivated. Jerry loves going for walks out in nature and has been working hard on his leash manners. Jerry has a happy-go-luck approach to life and a sunny disposition.
