At American Black & Tan Coonhound Rescue, our mission is to save the lives of Coonhounds and Bloodhounds who are overlooked, abandoned, or surrendered, and to match them with loving forever families. We provide each dog with medical care, safety, and patient foster homes where they can heal and thrive while we carefully evaluate the best fit for adoption. Beyond rescue, we are dedicated to educating the public about the true nature of these loyal, gentle companions—dispelling the myths and celebrating the joy they bring to families. Every adoption not only transforms a dog’s life but also enriches the lives of the people who open their hearts to them.
