Della

Della is a young Bluetick girl waiting in the Mobile area for a new home after failing as a hunter. Born on April 28, 2025, she has thrived in foster care as a companion dog. Della has that sweet, goofy personality that coonhound lovers know so well. She loves to snuggle and be with her humans and considers “personal space” to be a rule that is best ignored. Della loves to sniff and search for little critters and to play with other dogs. Tug-of-war is her favorite game. She does fine with children; she has not been cat tested. Della is housetrained and will let her foster know when she needs to go outside. She is happy to sleep and hang out in her crate when she knows others are around, whether the door is open or closed. Della is very gentle when she takes a treat and will sit to wait for her meals. She is fine with baths, too, and is a quiet coonie in the house.
