Genna

Genna is a petite 2 year old bluetick girl waiting in the St. Louis area for a new home. As soon as she arrived in her foster home, Genna zoomed around the house, smelling everything with a wagging tail, eager to be petted and given treats. She is shy with new people for about 10 minutes, then she's that person's new best friend. Genna is equal parts sweet, silly, and curious and just wants to be in the middle of whatever is happening, especially if pets and human affection are involved. She is medium energy and quiet for a coonhound. Genna can entertain herself by tossing her dog toys in the air, pouncing on them, then prancing around with a toy in her mouth like she won an award. She loves to swim and would make a great hiking buddy. In good weight at 43 lbs, Genna is housetrained and will whine at the door to go outside. She is also cratetrained and leashtrained. She is calm and has very good manners in the car. With space and a few minutes to adjust, Genna does great with other dogs; she and the resident coonhound are now best friends and race around the yard playing with chews and toys. Genna seems quite happy to share, and they switch back and forth playing keep-away.
