Jerry is a goofy, affectionate 1 year old Bluetick boy waiting in Chattanooga for a new home. Jerry is a fun-loving boy that is always ready for his next adventure; whether he's romping around with other dogs at the dog park, exploring the outdoors, or soaking up attention from his people, Jerry is all in. Underweight at 50 lbs, Jerry should probably weigh closer to 60 lbs and is enjoying regular meals. He absolutely loves playing with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine companion or regular opportunities for playtime. He also does well with children and tolerates cats. Jerry has a world-class bay and isn’t shy about using it, so he is not a good candidate for close neighbors. As a young hound, Jerry has plenty of energy and will need an active family that can provide exercise, enrichment, and continued training. He is doing great with housetraining and manners. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, he is sure to become an outstanding companion.
