Lyra

Lyra is an 18 month old Bloodhound waiting in Mobile for a new home. She was surrendered, along with her 3 puppies, and it’s now her turn to be someone's baby. This 60 lb girl is pure sweetness and is wonderful with cats, children, and dogs of all sizes. She’s calm and affectionate with her people but loves to play with her canine friends. She believes she’s a lap dog, loves curling up on the couch for cuddles, and will happily cover you in kisses. She adores slow walks with no agenda except stopping to sniff absolutely everything. Stuffed animals are her favorite toy, and she loves to find that squeaker. At the end of the day, you will often find her sleeping flat on her back with all four paws in the air, completely content. Lyra is housetrained and cratetrained.
