Mr. Peabody

Mr. Peabody is a total heartthrob! This handsome 106 lb Bloodhound was born in May of 2025 and was surrendered to us after his family’s living circumstances changed. This boy is an absolute love bug that genuinely believes he is a lap dog; he thrives on human companionship and will happily stick by his person’s side all day long. He is best suited for a home where someone is around frequently, whether working from home or retired or able to take him along to the office. He is cratetrained, but he does best with routine and human presence. He is also good with kids, though due to his sheer size and strength, sturdy human siblings are best.

​Mr. Peabody completed a 3 month board-and-train program, including basic search-and-rescue foundations, and he even knows how to track deer! Keeping his nose engaged and brain busy gives him great satisfaction. A total daycare pro, he is dog-friendly with a sweet, submissive play style. A job or a few days of doggie daycare a week would be ideal to keep him mentally and physically fulfilled. He previously lived with cats and did great.
