Mr. Red

Mr. Red is a handsome 2 year old Redbone Coonhound waiting in Murfreesboro for a new home. Red is a sweet, affectionate, and loyal boy with a gentle, calm personality that enjoys relaxing on the couch with his people just as much as he enjoys being outside exploring. He is shy when meeting new people, but once he feels comfortable, he quickly forms a strong bond and loves being close to his people. Red does very well with other dogs and has done well around cats. In good weight at 60 lbs, Red sleeps quietly in his crate at night and does well in the crate during the day; he keeps his crate clean and settles nicely. He is quickly picking up housetraining and house manners. Red enjoys going for a walk and is learning how to walk politely on a leash. He absolutely loves car rides and gets excited to hop in the car and stick his head out of the window. He rides calmly, settles in well, and is an excellent passenger. Red is a very quiet dog, especially indoors.
