Caroline

Today we put Caroline down. She was between 17 and 18 years old. Originally named "Midnight Blue" when adopted, we renamed her Caroline and she became a huge part of our family. She persevered through 10 years of Atypical Cushing's disease. She was the matriarch of our dog family and surrogate mother to Ralphie who we lost 2 years ago. The blue love seat was like her "throne" and gave credence to her nickname of "Princess Caroline". Though she was stubborn she had one of the sweetest dispositions of any dog I've had the pleasure of being around.
