Gracie Mae

The Rainbow Bridge has been crossed over once again by our Sweet Ms. Gracie Mae (Treeing Walker Hound and 7th Rescue). She came into our lives after the loss of our Sweet Ms. Kadie and right away became attached to each of our other rescues first with Annie, and then with Beau, and eventually with Browning. We often referred to her as our Nordstrom Dog for being so perfect - She was housebroken from Day 1, loved every person and every other dog that crossed her path, was never food jealous, and near the end loved to play referee during skirmishes between Beau and Browning (she knew how to keep them both in line). She had a voracious appetite and would track our every move to the kitchen (often from a sleeping position with one ear to the sky) looking for that extra late night snack. She brought us countless hours of joy, pleasure, and comfort throughout her life and was an amazing, loyal, fun, loving, sweet and precious dog that was so full of character and showed all of us (including our other pets) unconditional love even in the end as her body failed. Thank you for all the great memories. We love you and will miss you Ms. Gracie Mae!
